Summary
My favorite all-in-one, start-to-finish premium resource aligned with the minimalist internet business strategy is Project 24.
I am a paid member of Project 24. I’ve gone through several of the courses available solely to subscribers, including all 60 stages in its flagship 60 Steps to Blogging Success course. Because my blog is already established, I am not following all 60 stages. I’m cherry-picking the information that’s relevant to me.
They’ve temporarily reduced the pricing due to the coronavirus.
Important: Do you enjoy taking classes? Do you have a course backlog? (I notice you, LOL!) I, too, am a course junkie.::fistbump::)
Here’s my straightforward advice: don’t buy any additional courses until you’ve completed the ones you already have. Project 24 is always available. You may return to it at any time. Also, check out my article 8 Questions to Ask Before Purchasing an Online Course.
What exactly is Project 24?
Project 24 is a subscription service. You’ll get access to a course library, a member community, and other tools and services.
What will it be useful for?
It will show you how to create a specialty blog or YouTube channel from the ground up. The objective, as the name says, is to earn a full-time salary within 24 months.
Who is Project 24 best suited for?
Beginners.
The step-by-step approach is excellent if you are new to blogging or YouTube. The recommendation is sound. The plan is sound.
Some inexperienced players.
If you’ve been blogging for a while, the 60 Steps and Timeline may be irrelevant unless you desire a fresh start or are beginning a new site from scratch. There’s a lot more wonderful stuff inside Project 24 (which I’ve enjoyed), but watch their YouTube videos first to determine whether their method is right for you. Read the FAQs as well.
Bloggers interested in starting a YouTube channel, or vice versa.
A blog is fantastic. A YouTube channel is fantastic. They have the potential to be fantastic when they work together.
Very narrow markets.
Project 24 will not be as effective for people who chose wide niches. Choosing a broad specialization isn’t a smart idea these days.
Those looking to outsource.
The goal of Project 24 is to generate as much passive income as possible. Hiring writers to develop content is highly recommended. If that’s not your thing, you’ll still profit, but consider the other considerations listed below before making a purchase.
You’re promoting a high-priced product or products.
This might be your own product (such as an educational course) or someone else’s product (such as an affiliate product costing $100 or more). If your plan is to promote lower-cost affiliate products or make money through display ads, you may not reach the Timeline milestones as quickly because you will require more traffic volume.
You are not a sluggish writer or a perfectionist.
As I previously stated, the expectation is that you will publish a post every day in under 90 minutes. Taking longer does not imply that Project 24 will not work for you; it simply means that it will take you a little longer to complete.
You have the funds and time to invest in another high-end product.
Before you join, ask yourself these questions.
Who is responsible for Project 24?
Income School’s Jim Harmer and Ricky Kesler.
Do they have any qualifications?
Yes. Since 2013, they’ve launched a slew of specialty websites. (A complete list with numbers is available here.) They earn well over seven figures every year.
The fact that they’ve launched multiple sites in various niches distinguishes them from similar product creators who have only done it once or twice.
In fact, they recently announced that they are selling all of their sites and starting over. In the video below, Jim explains why. Impressive.
When will Project 24 be open?
Every time.
How much does it cost?
It’s a subscription model. They charge an annual lump sum up front, followed by a smaller annual charge each year after that. The current price is shown below.
You can cancel at any time, but full or partial refunds are not available.
Is it worthwhile?
Yes. If you work hard enough.
How long before I start making money?
This is what distinguishes Project 24. They tell you how much money (and how much traffic) you should be earning each month. It’s known as the Project 24 Timeline.
I’ve never seen another course chart out traffic and earning possibilities like this.
Here’s a look at the timetable for Months 5 and 6. Of course, I blocked away the specifics, but you can see how it provides a useful overview to ensure you’re on track.
You may see what you should be focused on (Action to take) and what you’ve done in prior months at a glance. You’ll also receive extremely detailed figures for traffic, money (this month), and what you should have made so far.
How did they get at the Timeline figures?
Over the years, Jim and Ricky have launched and grown a number of specialized websites ranging from photography to pets to dirt riding. Many pupils have been instructed to do the same. They monitor what works and what doesn’t.
Based on their statistics and experience, they anticipate that their students would earn around $1000 per month after 12 months and a full-time income after 24 months.
This isn’t based on one or two websites, what they believe would work, or the general guru consensus. It is founded on data. That appeals to me.
Is the Timeline a given?
No. They couldn’t reasonably account for all of the variables involved. However, if you follow their recommendations, I believe their figures are fair and probably attainable.
What if I fail to adhere to the Timeline?
First and foremost, did you complete the 60 Steps to Blogging Success course? The Timeline flows from the 60 stages, so make sure you stick to them.
If you continue to get off course, seek assistance on the Project 24 community forum. Ricky and Jim are also engaged in the community, however the FAQ makes it plain what to anticipate from them:
“We genuinely care about our pupils.” We are not one of those online schools where you are dropped as soon as you pay. Jim and Ricky have been known to go above and above the call of duty to assist people, but don’t anticipate a private mentoring as part of the course.”
Private tutoring is also available, albeit at an extra expense.
What is the time commitment?
Set aside 1-2 hours every day for this. The core of Project 24, 60 Steps to Blogging Success, assigns you one job to do each day. It stresses posting one post every day, especially at the start. They demonstrate how they produce a post from start to finish in 60-90 minutes.
If you want to generate a full-time income, expect to be in this for at least two years, however the majority of the real work will be done at the start.
I appreciate their strategy of providing a lot of material up front and then letting SEO do the rest. You won’t necessarily spend 1-2 hours every day for the next two years, but you will in the start.
What exactly is Project 24?
The biggest draw is the huge course library. The two main courses are 60 Steps to Blogging Success and 60 Steps to YouTube Success. There are also other smaller courses that focus on certain themes.
