Sifu Wayne Belonoha is the artist.
Wing Chun Kung Fu is the style.
Ip Man Style Wing Chun: Complete Ving Tsun Kung Fu Program in 108 Steps is the title of the set.
This is the whole (9) DVD set, completely chaptered per step (108 videos in all.)
Sifu Wayne Belonoha has just produced a fantastic 9-disc Blu-Ray collection on Ving Tsun Kung Fu. This collection has the finest production quality of any Wing Chun instructional film we’ve ever seen (and we’ve viewed over 700!).
Sifu Wayne is a fantastic instructor, and his Wing Chun University course is the most popular Wing Chun video series of all time.
Over 4,000 distinct clips, terminology, idioms, tenets, essential concepts, summary dialogues, Notes to Self, over 100 different transitions, incredibly amusing joke images, and other artifacts are included on the nine Blu-ray Discs (BD).
There’s also an Easter egg concealed in the Blu-ray disc set where sifu Wayne shows off his abilities.
The Blu-ray disc set has no duplicate video; every explanation, demonstration, and detail is unique. Changes in how a subject is delivered or fresh demonstrations can undoubtedly aid your comprehension.
This three-year-in-the-making Blu-ray disc set teaches each of the 108 stages in the method just as Sifu Wayne teaches them in his schools. Each phase is divided into five sections:
Learn / Teach / Demonstrate
Common Errors
Applications (street or chi sau) (street or chi sau)
Drills / Demonstration / Follow Along
Additional Reading / Homework
Sifu Wayne’s exciting style of funny-because-it’s-not-funny comedy will be combined with straight facts and educated, logical, straightforward explanations that you can genuinely comprehend and believe in. The explanations are excellent, and the demonstrations are performed both slowly and quickly. If you want to learn, you’ve come to the correct spot. A skill is knowledge applied, and if you want the skill, you must first acquire the information.
The Blu-ray discs adhere to well-known Wing Chun concepts, so our unbiased courses will give you with relevant information regardless of the Wing Chun style you practice. They do not provide enjoyment with fast-paced, showy movement, drama, dragons/flames, profanity, simulated violence, or a style in which every action is excessive. Learning and enjoyment are not the same thing.
Each phase also employs a distinct Reality Score system, which indicates how closely this practice fits with the ultimate aim of deploying it on the street. The score is determined by a method that takes into account accuracy, sensitivity, environmental stability, and drill complexity. The Reality Score rises when the simple, easy, discrete skills you acquire combine into one another and are executed with more precision in a more complex and dynamic situation. The scale ranges from 0% (part practice of important skills or aspects of a bigger method with an emphasis on skill development) to 100% (practice of all compound skills required for fighting against a trained and unwilling opponent).
Sifu Wayne’s open courses at his school are simply a guided practice session in which students work together on the abilities that need to be developed and Sifu Wayne provides minor corrections, details, or viewpoints to aid comprehension and advancement. When a student’s abilities have advanced to the point that they can be merged or supported by another component, that new item is taught as the next level in the curriculum. When he teaches that new step, he covers the five sections listed above, as well as the four or five main elements, pitfalls to avoid, a demonstration and the corresponding drills, how the approach is employed, and homework. So, to ensure that you (the viewer) had the finest learning experience possible, he took everything his pupils learned and placed it on Blu-ray disc for you.
Too much knowledge at the start of practice might overwhelm students. He wants to offer them (you) enough to learn by exploring and asking questions. As time passes and they improve or fall off course, he will provide those minor tweaks or specifics to keep them (you) on track or to clear up any physical/mental blockages they may have.
So, how about his whole Ving Tsun course at the WCU? Wing Chun University (WCU) classes take a completely different approach. The films provide an A-la-Carte approach rather than following the curriculum step by step. You can select a subject and follow it solely from the beginning to the finish of the system. So, similar to the Blu-ray disc, you will receive the first teachings, but instead of displaying the following step in the curriculum, the lessons may skip through to the next skill in that area. For example, the WCU striking video begins with curriculum step 2 (basic punch mechanics), then skips steps 3-14 and proceeds to step 15 (punching with explosive power), and then proceeds to step 18 (punching with entire body).
