Jay Williams is an insurance industry veteran who has worked as a producer, established and managed an agency marketing department, commercial lines manager, VP/agency operations manager, and agency owner. As the Managing Director of FMS for FAIA, he was responsible for producing and revising study materials for the Florida Agent and Florida Adjuster licensure tests, as well as participating on the Exam Review Committee.
Jay served as president of both Bankers Underwriters and Bankers Employer Services before joining UPC as vice president of sales and agency relations, transitioning the firm from a single-state to a multi-state operation.
Jay is now the temporary executive director of Applied Client Network, an association of Applied System agency management software users. He is a known specialist on agency E&O loss management and a consultant and expert witness. Jay’s professional background provides him with a unique perspective on the insurance market.
