DescriptionHelping children control their energy and arousal levels can be critical to their ability to increase self-regulation and fully engage in their lives at school and at home. Our breath is a strong instrument that interacts directly with our neurological system to help us regulate ourselves. This video will teach you six safe and effective breath-based activities to share with your clients and/or students, as well as a better understanding of how the breath may be utilized to help self-regulation. We will also discuss modifications and considerations for children of various ages, as well as typical problems like asthma and allergies. Jennifer Cohen Harper, the founder of Little Flower Yoga and author of Little Flower Yoga for Kids: A Yoga and Mindfulness Program to Help Your Child Improve Attention and Emotional Balance, will be teaching the class.
