Content:
The series of two instructional DVDs introduces the Wu Style Taijiquan Form’s eighty-eight moves. Wu Style Taijiquan is refined and graceful, with compact, circular, and swift motions. The distinguishing “slanted but straight” trait of the Wu style is visible in Master Luo’s refined forms in this remarkable performance. “Hands as ilsom as willow branches bending to meet the sea and torso as sturdy as a long steel bridge,” the beauty of Wu style Taiji’s continually flowing movements is finely epressed throughout the performance.
These DVDs will be beneficial as study guides for both new and seasoned students.
Disk One shows the whole shape and includes a slide show demo exhibiting movement angles and directions.
Disk Two has detailed instructions for each of the eighty-eight motions. The lesson makes use of two camera viewpoints.
