While salmon fishing on Lake Michigan, long-time martial artist and best-selling Paladin author Joseph Simonet had the idea for this film. Realizing how fast an unprepared person may be taken out if assaulted unexpectedly, Simonet devised a set of swift defenses and counterattacks that he would employ in such situations.
