Why is it necessary to create a Facebook group?
I’m JR Rivas, and I’ve helped over 5,000 entrepreneurs bring their ideas to market as a course.

Here’s why selling a course is superior to all other digital options to begin with:

-You don’t need any technical or design experience to get started.
-You don’t even have to be a “Expert” in your profession to participate (More on this later)
-You are not required to go out and start cold emailing or door knocking (like with the agency model)
-The entire business may be set to run on autopilot (not right off the bat, but a few months in)
-You may sell a product before creating it to verify your idea and generate some money before doing any effort (more on this later)

So, how does that work exactly?
A single course sale might be worth anywhere from $297 to $3,000. (my clients are selling multiple at this price point a week)

They believe they must be an expert.
They have no idea how to establish market trust.
I understand… I was there when I initially tried to sell my first course, but let my mistakes teach you that it doesn’t have to be unpleasant!
The 6 Course Selling Lies
Lie #1: You need a large audience to earn five figures each month from your Course.
On my way to creating my Course, I fell for this deception… I assumed I needed 100k+ followers to hit six figures. One of my friends informed me one day that he was making $55,000+ per month through a Facebook group of 2,000 individuals. This shook my belief system since I knew others on Instagram with 87k followers who were trying to sell shoutouts for $30 at the time.
That’s when it dawned on me: you don’t need a large following, just a following of BUYERS.
The trick is to put your effort into acquiring your target clientele, not a bunch of “tire kickers”.
Does that make sense?
I can’t sell a course since I’m not an expert, according to lie number two.
Do you believe that news reporters are experts in every subject they cover?
Certainly not!
So, why do millions of people rely on them for information?
Because they’ve taken on the job of the reporter, and you can, too…
I wasn’t an expert in anything when I initially started out, but I knew I could add value to people’s lives by identifying those experts, leveraging their experience, and sharing it with the rest of the world.
I eventually became an expert, and you may use the same approach.
In addition, when it comes to specific topics, I invite other experts (at no expense) to come into my course and lecture on subjects in which I am not an expert.
Lie #3: If I put myself out there, I will be embarrassed, humiliated, or called out for making an incorrect statement.
Many individuals are terrified by this… But what I’ve discovered is the polar opposite. The more honest and transparent you are, the more people will be drawn to you. I used to be terrified of performing things like cussing in front of my audience, but once I accepted it, I stepped into my authenticity, and my following grew exponentially!
I rapidly understood that the aspects of myself that I was reluctant to share my audience were exactly what built the link and bonded them to me even more!
As previously noted, taking on the position of the reporter helps with this as well, because no one expects you to know everything.
Lie #4: You must have a product before you can start creating an audience.
This is something I’ve heard from hundreds of businesses. Entrepreneurs come in, produce a product, and then work really hard to find people to sell it to.
I do exactly the opposite.
I assist entrepreneurs like you in identifying your target market’s requirements, selling them a product, and then creating it.
In the financial world, this is known as a risk reversal.
Lie #5: To effectively sell a product, you must be excellent at marketing or branding.
The fact is just the contrary… Rather than being excellent at screaming, you must be great at listening to and catering to the people that follow you. THAT IS HOW A PRODUCT IS SOLD SUCCESSFULLY. Amazon did not become Amazon because it had the best ads in the world; rather, it became Amazon because it had the finest product.
Lie #6: It takes a significant amount of time out of my day to establish an audience and sell a course.
It does take some time. However, with the method I’ve created, I’ve gotten it down to a science. I plan and arrange my week once a week, and the most of it is automatic.
