Judith Moolten, CSW, MSW, YC, CRYT, MBT is a clinical social worker, EMDR Level II practitioner (for over ten years), educator, writer, Yoga coach, Mind Body Therapist, and the Executive Director of YOGA Etc. and The Mindbody Institute in Wheeling, West Virginia. Judith has employed EMDR with a wide range of individuals, including those suffering from PTSD, traumatic damage (sexual, physical, emotional abuse, and other child adult traumas), anxiety, panic, chronic pain difficulties, and to improve performance. The EMDR Institute has certified her in EMDR.
After working with a veterans’ rights group, Judith quickly saw the importance of mindfulness techniques as well as EMDR in transforming lives and releasing the mindbody from suffering and recurrent harm.
Judith practices daily mindfulness and has studied with Pattabhi Jois, David Swenson, David Scott Lynn (DSL Edgework), Ronald Siegel, and many others. She was one of the first to apply Yoga psychotherapy in the United States. She instructs and qualifies children and adults in the usage and teaching of these techniques.
Judith has spent the last 20 years working with individuals and groups suffering from addiction, traumatic brain injury, chronic back and neck pain, abuse victims, acting out teens, school systems, eating and body problems, overworked parents, alternative learning centers, and other issues.
