Zamperini, LPC, NCC, NCGC-1, CMHIMP is a licensed professional counselor with a master’s degree in counseling psychology and a master’s degree in education with secondary guidance certification. She is a Nationally Certified Gambling Counselor and a certified professional counselor. Kathleen graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition with a degree in holistic nutrition and is a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider. She is passionate in assisting people in understanding the importance of diet in mental wellness. She has 30 years of counseling expertise working with people who are depressed or anxious, and she is the director of counseling at Catholic Charities, a prominent social care agency in Pittsburgh, PA. She has written articles for the National Gambling Association Newsletter about the significance of nutrition in treating gambling addictions and has given several talks on the subject, including at a statewide conference.
