“Kenneth Jay, our lovely Dane of Pain, pulled a quick one on the unwary applicants at the June 2007 Level Two RKC certification session.
Kenneth walked onto the dimly lit stage at Daytons Bluff and lulled his audience into a false feeling of security in his best scholarly style.
Prof gave persuasive proof that a properly planned, individualized kettlebell snatch regimen might give us the best cardio of our life, with tips, charts, graphs, figures, and wads of research to back him up. And give us a fighting chance to be acknowledged with those enormously mighty warriors of ancient times.
Everyone said, “Niiiiice!”
Niiiiice! They sank lower into their plush chairs, jotting philosophically on their notepads
The RKCs were thoroughly trained in Cardiovascular Kettlebell Concepts and how to significantly increase their all-important VO2 Max.
But, like decaf coffee, theory without practice is pointless.
That was a GREAT THEORY, but how about some PRACTICE?
Of course, our friendly Viking was not going to let his pupils off the hook with a Powerpoint presentation of theory and research, no matter how persuasive it was. Leave them to sulk, as they do in so many other certification programs. Nooooooooo.
Kenneth invited the RKC candidates to participate in the protocol practice.
So the RKCs all trooped out to the field and were quickly exposed to one of the most searing KB sessions of their lives: the VO2Max snatch protocol.
We recorded every aspect of Kenneth’s fantastic and extremely instructive talk, as well as every critical moment of the VO2Max protocol in operation.
Take in Kenneth’s presentation and watch it several times so your mind can grasp the full significance and power of what Kenneth is presenting you. Then follow along and be encouraged by the warrior-building workout that follows. Then get ready to kick some serious butt in the world at large “.
