The activity will meet the requirements of osteopathic clinicians and other practicing clinicians to increase knowledge, competence, and/or performance for the treatment of Systemic Disorders and Physiological Functions by leveraging osteopathic medicine concepts.
Treatment effectiveness varies depending on the patient. This webinar will provide participants with the opportunity to learn the neuroanatomic basis for how OMT affects physiologic functions, as well as meet the needs of interested physicians who want to increase their knowledge in this area of medical practice, including assessment of existing and emerging therapies, while developing customized treatment plans through interactive case scenarios.
Objectives of Learning
Following completion of this task, students will be able to:
Learn how to engage into relationships with patients in a way that involves empathy, limits, and encourages open communication.
For improved patient results, use the balanced relationship characteristic to all of their osteopathic manipulative treatments.
Determine for themselves when they are in a balanced relationship.
