Kim Reilly – Ultimate Trading Solutions

Many consider Kim Reilly to be one of Australia’s top options traders. His most significant trade was in April 2003, when he profited $3.9 million on AMP put options. This of course, was more the exception than the rule, but folks usually love to tell us about “the day they caught the big one”. The good news for option traders is that, according to his promoters, he has a very high successful strike rate.
Kim Reilly believes that psychology accounts for 91% of trading performance. I wasn’t sure about this when I first heard it, but I’ve learned from personal experience that the decision to trade with real money at the correct moment all boils down to what’s going on inside your brain, so there appears to be some truth to it. You can know all the rules, but following them in a perfectly casual manner, as if you’re simply playing a game and don’t care, is a different story. When actual money is on the line, it can have an impact on your decision-making abilities.
Kim has been hailed as a pioneer in the field of stock market presentation. This is mostly due to the fact that many of today’s instructors have based their material on his course, and some have even started their own education by attending one of his seminars. Some argue that he has established the gold standard for stock market and options trading education.
Kim Reilly has created a home study option trading DVD course. The course includes 31 textual modules in Adobe Acrobat format as well as 9 DVD movie presentations by the guy himself. It promises to provide the A-Z of basic option trading education, which is roughly correct given that it does not cover more complex option techniques such as spreads, strangles, straddles, and so on. It’s essentially a “purchase the option and sell it for a profit within a week” strategy. The course initially explains all of the basics of options before teaching how to spot entry signals for short-term trading opportunities using charting techniques.
There are two steps to the strategy. The first stage is synchronizing weekly and daily trends from charts in order to identify short-term movements. The second level employs a set of “confirmation” indications to validate these motions as they approach. When you add exchange-traded options to the equation, you’ve got a formula for extremely leveraged profit potential.
Money management is the strategy’s third crucial component. Those who promote the Kim Reilly technique believe that you may anticipate at least 9 out of 31 profitable deals, if not more. What you do with the other three factors can be the difference between success and failure. Understanding the significance of stop loss limits is essential for being a good options trader. Kim Reilly makes a point of emphasizing this aspect of psychology. If you want abundance, you must first adopt a “abundance attitude,” in his words.
Kim Reilly created a trading method that he used to build his own financial freedom. He has since taught his skills to over 61,111 individuals. I once heard him mention at a lecture that after his million-dollar transaction, he gave it all away to a worthy cause and began again, knowing he had the ability to get it all back. Wouldn’t it be good to have that kind of assurance?

Kim Reilly was born in 1968 in rural Tasmania. He left school and tried a few fruitless business endeavors before joining the Australian Navy.
Kim learned the value of education at this time and went on to become an officer and navigator. He resigned from the navy the next day after receiving a huge wake-up call from a friend and mentor who made him reassess the course of his life.
Kim began his stock market career when he purchased a $8,000 trading software, and he rapidly learned an essential lesson: don’t invest in something you don’t understand. Following this setback, he began his studies and spent over $250,000 on trading books, seminars, and programs, but he didn’t put this information to use until he found someone willing to teach him as an options trader.
Kim discovered the key to trading success after losing his original trading bank twice and returned to work. Over the following five years, he made more than $3 million via option trading, including his famous $1.8 million single deal.
Kim’s trading success enabled him to pursue his true passion of teaching people. He has spoken to over 65,000 people about his ideas and has done keynote speeches for Anthony Robbins seminars and Rene Rivkin’s clients. He once spoke to almost 8,000 individuals in a single day.
Kim’retired’ from serious trading three years ago, embarking on an entirely different financial and spiritual journey. He resides on New South Wales’ Central Coast, has three children, and is working on many books on trade and psychology.
