Module 1: A Pathway to an Open Heart
KD will discuss the great saints and great beings in this first module, as well as how and why their presence in the world has such a significant influence on us.
We wouldn’t be here if there weren’t saints and magnificent humans. They’re constantly with you, controlling the show, according to KD. You can’t, however, go seeking for them. They must track you down.
KD will lead you in contemplating the topic, “What does it mean to be a human being, and what can a human being achieve?”
Spiritual practices and skills will be presented to you, which will continue and grow as you progress through the five modules. When the course is over, you will have lessons and practices to take with you and apply in your daily life.
This session will teach you:
The definition of the term “saint” as used by KD in this course, and how it varies based on context and period.
The Hanuman Stavan – a compilation of stotras in celebration of Lord Hanuman’s abilities, actions, and devotion — is the invocatory prayer KD always shares to begin his kirtan.
KD’s stories of his gurus, including Neem Karoli Baba (NKB, or Maharaj-ji) and Sri Siddhi Ma, Shirdi Sai Baba, Ramana Maharshi, the Buddha, and others.
Transformative advice from KD’s gurus, great saints, and great beings that you can use into your daily life right away.
Sri Ram Jai Ram is a guided call-and-response chant that honors Rama, who signifies loyalty, duty, and the individual’s social and spiritual obligations.
Module 2: Getting to Know the Guru
Krishna Das will offer in-depth insight about his master, NKB, Maharaj-ji, in this session.
He’ll talk about how they met, his experiences living in India with Maharaj-ji, what he learnt from Maharaj-ji, and what he learned from the elderly Indian devotees who surrounded Maharaj-ji.
Even after Maharaj-ji has passed away, KD will ponder on the gift of his guru’s presence in his life over the previous 50 years.
He’ll also discuss how to identify the guru who lives within you (and everyone).
KD will explain that having a guru teaches you that no matter what life throws at you, you have the choice to not live as a victim.
You may just be present in every situation… When you discover the guru inside you, you may cultivate the inner fortitude to traverse the here and now.
In this session, you will investigate:
KD felt a positive, relaxing, and transforming power after his teacher died.
Vinaya Chalisa, an Indian devotee’s devotional prayer to the guru that is often performed at Maharaj-temples. ji’s

The 40 poems praising Neem Baba Karoli
Module 3: Starting in the Middle — Breaking Free From Our Stories
What exactly does it mean to start in the middle?
KD will explain how to begin from where you are, in the midst of the Path, your Path, in this lesson.
He’ll explain how your prior karma has shaped your personality, your sense of self in the world, and your emotional life.
The karma you generate right now determines who you will become in the end.
All that is necessary is simplicity, sincerity, honesty, and the fortitude and bravery to look at your “stuff” (self-loathing, doubt, and other negative emotions) and release it over and over again.
You’ll grow better acquainted and at peace with yourself as a result of this approach.
This session will teach you:
The significance of what KD refers to as “cleaning the mirror of the heart” – understanding your current situation and the obstacles or hurdles that prevent you from living your greatest life.
What is the relationship between grounding and devotional practices?
Two basic Buddhist meditation techniques with tremendous ability to liberate you from unpleasant emotions — and return you to the dreamland where most people reside.

Metta is a practice of directed loving-kindness.
Module 4: Moving Within — The Crux of the Issue
Krishna Das will lead you through an exploration of travelling inside in this program.
You’ll begin by considering what the term “inside” truly implies.
KD will tell the narrative of the Buddha discovering his own inherent joy, which led to his enlightenment. The Buddha later described his path as the Middle Way.
KD will teach the practice of Chanting the Names of God, which are also the names of the Presence inside you and all of us, as he will explain.
These names are the sound of the Ocean of Love’s surf. They have the ability to guide you back to the water. We don’t have to produce or manufacture emotions or feelings, as KD states. All we need to do now is remember.
You’ll think about how everyone takes their own road to the ocean, but we all end there in the same location.
Chanting the Names is described by KD as “the practice for this age,” a spiritual discipline that will expand your heart and quiet your mind.
This session will teach you:
How to Remind Yourself of Your Natural State’s Richness While Engaging in Spiritual Practices
Why is it so important to remove oneself from continual obsessive thinking about yourself?
Lessons from Hanuman, a fully liberated creature who lives exclusively to serve the Love within, which he refers to as “Ram.”
The practice of chanting God’s Names
Return to the Hanuman Stavan Hanuman guided chant Chalisa is a technique that cleanses the mind’s mirror, purifies the heart, and liberates you from your subjective view of the universe.
Module 5: Remember God, Love Everyone, and Serve Everyone
My current route is not the renunciate road. My path is to live as completely as possible in the world. “Love everyone,” Maharaj-ji remarked. Everyone should be served. Keep God in mind.” He never informed us we were going to live in the forest.
– Dr. Krishna Das
Krishna Das will examine the interconnectedness of mindfulness, devotion, and compassion in this last module.
He will discuss the significance of these three characteristics and how they might lead to a oneness of love that alters your daily existence.
KD will lead you through a review and summary of all the techniques you’ve learnt in the previous four modules. You’ll learn how to incorporate these spiritual practices into your daily life, giving you the confidence to keep developing.
This session will teach you:
What to expect if you integrate spiritual activities into your daily life
Why your aspirations might be an impediment to your progress
What are the subtle signals that you’re becoming a more mindful, compassionate being?
