David Chermol is the Lead Partner of Chermol & Fishman, LLC, a law practice specializing in federal court appeals of negative ALJ findings throughout the United States. Mr. Chermol formerly worked as a GS-15 Special Assistant United States Attorney for the SSA-OGC. For numerous years, he was co-chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Social Security Disability Committee. He received the National Association of Disability Representatives’ Member of the Year Award in March of 2014. Mr. Chermol is the Eastern District of Pennsylvania’s Social Security disability pro se appeals panel coordinator by court appointment. During the 2008 campaign, he was the Obama campaign’s regional co-director on disability issues in Pennsylvania. He represents other disability attorneys in all 50 states on federal court appeals.

Attorney Thomas D. Sutton is a Past President of the NOSSCR and a current member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Sutton has represented thousands of individual disability plaintiffs and was co-counsel in Sullivan v. Zebley, 493 U.S. 521 (1990), a winning nationwide class action on behalf of over 400,000 impaired children, before the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Sutton has successfully litigated hundreds of federal court cases, including precedential opinions from the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in Ramirez v. Barnhart, 372 F.3d 546 (3d Cir. 2004), Markle v. Barnhart, 324 F.3d 182 (3d Cir. 2003), and Walton v. Halter, 243 F.3d 703 (3d Cir. 2003). (3d Cir. 2001). He has given numerous disability law lectures across the country, testified before Congressional committees, and served as a faculty member for numerous seminars sponsored by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and several state bar associations. Mr. Sutton is a Haverford College and University of Pennsylvania Law School graduate.
