He, like us, was confused by all of the contradicting information on hypnosis that was available (a lot of it still inaccurate to this day).

Michael had the knowledge, skill set, and, fortunately for us, the desire to question conventional wisdom.
He discovered that traditional hypnosis training actually conditioned its trainees into constraints, such as being taught that hypnotic phenomena could only be produced in a closed eye deep trance.

In a waking open-eyed condition, Michael has achieved every single deep trance phenomenon.
They believed that only a small fraction of people could be hypnotized.

Michael has yet to find someone he cannot hypnotize.
They assumed you needed to communicate with the unconscious.

Michael was introduced to a completely new way of thinking while working and training with Richard Bandler for over ten years.
