Mona Delahooke, Ph.D., is a registered clinical psychologist who has worked with children, teens, and their families for over 25 years.
As a Reflective Practice Mentor, Dr. Delahooke has the highest degree of endorsement in the field of newborn and toddler mental health in California (RPM). She is a senior faculty member of the Profectum Foundation, an organization committed to expanding our knowledge and support of neurodiverse children, adolescents, and adults, with a specific focus on early childhood development. As an independent contractor, she teaches clinicians for the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health (DMH). Dr. Delahooke now works with parents, preschools, regional centers, governmental agencies, and school districts in the fields of screening, evaluation, intervention, and support for families, babies, toddlers, and children. She is the author of the award-winning Beyond Behaviors: Using Brain Science to Understand and Solve Children’s Behavioral Challenges (PESI, 2019), which offers a modern, neurodevelopmental approach applicable for all childcare professionals.
