Getting rid of license mistakes

If, after installation, you encounter the “About activation…” prompt on the first launch, you need perform the following:

– Complete the program entirely.

– Remove the licenses.json file from the following location:

/Library/Preferences/Parallels/licenses.json

P.S. Usually, this occurs if the program’s trial version was previously installed.

If the first solution did not work, you may entirely uninstall Parallels Desktop by using the PDremove.app uninstaller, which removes everything except virtual machines.

Attention! Complete all actions followed by a system reboot.

Network Troubleshooting:

1.cd /Library/Preferences/Parallels/network.desktop.xml

Find 1 (the number might be -1), then convert it to 0.

3.If you cannot locate this tag, simply create it beneath the root tag here.

USB Repair:

/Library/Preferences/Parallels/dispatcher.desktop.xml
0 find == >> 1

3. Press Ctrl + O, Enter, and then Ctrl + X.

As a result, you may start/restart Parallels without the need for sudo – the network will function normally.
