Determine what the Self is, explain the essential qualities of the Self, show how parts are resources for the Self, and describe the inner resources that each individual possesses.
Develop successful parenting methods by outlining the characteristics of Self-led parenting, defining the necessity of befriending one’s own parts in order to befriend one’s children’s parts, assessing the influence of childhood wounds on parenting, and investigating child parts within.
Incorporate parenting protocol questions to assist parents in assessing how childhood scars and trauma may be leading to a re-creation of comparable dynamics in their parenting of their children.
Examine the study on the function of attachment in the development of strong bonds between children and their caregivers.
Demonstrate and use the six “P’s” of parenting in order for parents to be available to connect with and build healthy attachments with their children, and to increase parents’ capacity to parent effectively.
Determine the impact of different attachment styles on how parents and children relate to each other, assess the impact of stress on connection, explain how legacy burdens can negatively impact the connection between parent and child, and organize parenting tools that can be used to build cooperation and re-establish connection and attachment in children through parental attunement and self-confidence building.
