I had no idea there was only one problem…

And that was that creating this soon-to-be “masterpiece” would demand a degree of intensity that I had never felt before.

This would be of such huge proportions that I could never have predicted when I first imagined it in 2004.

But, finally…

Now, in a number of respects, I messed up…

I basically chewed off more than I could chew, and it ended up taking years and years to complete, leaving many people “a little impatient” to get their hands on it.

But, honestly?

Most of the time, my motivation was simply the fact that this adventure into uncharted terrain was the most exciting and satisfying experience of my whole life.

I wasn’t “creatively inhibited” or “stuck in the muck” while everyone else was waiting for this template to be released.

I was working… writing… theorizing… testing… and teaching real programs in the field to examine how the new concepts affected everyone with whom I worked.

The trouble was, when I began to lay down every hard-hitting dating theory and method that I was aware of, I discovered that there was still so much that I didn’t know.

CRAZY EPIPHANIES… I came up with VAULTS full of entirely new thoughts and principles, stuff that was truly “beyond the box”.

It came to the point where it was driving me insane…

I was continuously working. I’d get out of bed in the morning, start working on the project, and then stay up until the light came back up the next day.

I’d be at the store and have a new realization and I’d be jotting down notes up against the wall, or wake up in the middle of the night and scream over to my girlfriend “GIVE ME A PEN!!”

A lot of the time I’d go to sleep frustrated and confused because the ideas that I wanted to communicate were so subtle and advanced that I couldn’t find the right way to explain them (even after working on it the entire day).

I dedicated at least 10 hours a week to this project over the past four years, but there were also months at a time that I went “underground” to work on this non-stop.

There were a lot of tough times where I wanted to put it off or just release it at a “decent” level just to get it out.

But as funny as it sounds, there was ONE THING that pushed me through…
