Renee Martin, JD, RN, MSN, is a lawyer. Seminars and items related to: 1Renee H. Martin, JD, RN, MSN, practices exclusively in the field of health care law, advising both individual and institutional behavioral health care providers on regulatory and transactional issues such as patient safety and quality of care, fraud and abuse, reimbursement, compliance, and the development of corporate compliance plans. Her practice is heavily focused on HIPAA compliance and informational privacy. She has successfully represented a number of providers that have faced OCR audits and inquiries. She is particularly suited to assist customers with risk management, quality of care, and patient safety problems as a registered nurse with over 15 years of clinical experience. Ms. Martin routinely publishes and talks about health law problems on a national level.
Ms. Martin graduated from Bryn Mawr Hospital in 1977, Neumann College in 1982, Villanova University in 1988, where she was recognized in “Who’s Who in American Nursing,” and Villanova University School of Law in 1994, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board.
Ms. Martin is a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is licensed to practice in the state. She belongs to the American and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. She works for the law firm Dilworth Payson, LP.
