The American Osteopathic Association has recognized the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association (TOMA) to conduct osteopathic continuing medical education for doctors. TOMA has designated this program for a maximum of 1.0 AOA Category 1-A credit and will submit CME and speciality credits based on the level of the physician’s involvement in this activity.
Dr. Rick Lin has been a board-certified dermatologist in McAllen, Texas, since 2006. Dr. Lin acquired his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth in 2001. He also earned a Master’s degree in Public Health from the UNTHSC School of Public Health. In 2002, he finished a typical rotating internship at Dallas Southwest Medical Center.
Dr. Lin finished his dermatology residency program in 2005 at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri, in collaboration with the Dermatology Institute of North Texas.
The American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology has certified Dr. Lin in the major specialty of dermatology. He also has additional certifications for Mohs Micrographic Surgery. He is also a board-certified pediatric dermatology sub-specialist.
