So here’s how to start making money on Udemy:

Marketing begins before the creation of a product.

Don’t isolate yourself and work on your video course alone. Get out there and ask people what they think: “I’m making a course on xyz; what do you want to see in it?” This is an excellent question for a relevant Facebook group, LinkedIn group, or, even better, your email list.

This is not only excellent audience research, but also excellent marketing. Before purchasing a product, people must be exposed to it several times. This raises your audience’s awareness of the impending release of your Udemy product.

Communication with your audience (via your blog, social media channels, or Udemy) continues throughout the product creation process and afterwards. Answer questions on a regular basis, monitor feedback, and design the course accordingly.
