Enhance client results in the treatment of mood disorders
Learn about particular techniques for dealing with anxiety and sadness.
Explain particular yoga techniques and sequences for anxiety and depression treatment.Recovery from anxiety and depression is a difficult task for both clients and physicians. Yoga and mindfulness help clients go through treatment and beyond, reprogramming the brain to be happier. These strategies promote therapeutic presence and self-compassion, facilitating deeper intimacy in the client/therapist interaction.
Yoga and mindfulness give people with fresh mental and physical experiences. These experiences, taken together, develop an alternative perspective and new brain pathways that assist clients in responding to painful situations rather than reacting to them. This program will benefit both experienced practitioners and those who are new to yoga and meditation.
Explore scientifically proven methods to yoga and mindfulness via lectures, small group work, and gentle postures with Sally King, a certified clinical social worker and qualified yoga trainer, in this educational DVD. You will learn quick, easy-to-implement therapeutic treatments for emotion regulation, mood improvement, and positive thinking. Furthermore, you will evaluate scientific data supporting these practices in plain language in order to inspire and motivate customers. Learn why these methods are successful at treating anxiety and depression.
