I was travelling to Sedona, Arizona in January 2001 to take Donna Eden’s Strange Flows program. (Donna has renamed the Strange Flows the Radiant Circuits.)

I was learning medical Qigong at the time of this Strange Flow class in 2001. While in Sedona, I was engrossed with Jerry Alan Johnson’s blockbuster book Chinese Medical Qigong Therapy. On the aircraft to Sedona, I read that the Eight Radiant Circuits are the first eight cell divisions that occur when a sperm encounters an egg. (These circuits are known as the Eight Extraordinary Vessels by Jerry Alan Johnson.)

As is often the case when I am learning with two outstanding professors, synchronicity creates a perfect storm. I had no idea that when I was reading Johnson’s book on the aircraft to Sedona, I was on my way to study these same Vessels with Donna.

Donna emphasizes that genuine delight comes from the Radiant Circuits. According to Johnson, the Extraordinary Vessels are the originators of life.

So, if the Radiant Circuits are the spring of pleasure (as Donna suggests), and our most primordial core self is Extraordinary Vessels (as Johnson suggests), the Radiant Circuits/Extraordinary Vessels must be our purest most holy/wholly form.

If our first condition of being totally human is the first eight divisions of the Eight Radiant Circuits, then those divisions must constitute our soul’s wiring.

My conclusion was as follows:

If we are “created in the image of God,” then the “creator” must be the Eight Radiant Circuits.

For years, I sat with this analysis. Then a number of people in my group started dying. During this period, I saw the Radiant Circuits in myself and others extensively. I watched and worked tirelessly on the Circuits on those who were dying. It was not a joyful period. However, it was an EXTRAORDINARY moment.

Since January 2001, I’ve learnt the following:

The Radiant Circuits patterns form the framework of the soul’s energy system. The Radiant Circuits, like the Yin and Yang meridians that transport the physical and emotional energy of the body, convey the energies of the soul.
I also know to be true that the Radiant Circuits have the power to hold and feel enormous joy, but they also have the ability to bear devastating sadness. The Radiant Circuits exist to store ALL of our life experiences while we are alive.
The stronger the bond between the Radiant and Meridian systems, the greater the ability for surviving and thriving in ALL emotional conditions. The power to hold enormous joy is also the ability to hold deep sadness.
I also know that if the Radiant Circuits are linked with the Yin and Yang of the physical and emotional, they will hold us together in the face of adversity.

You will leave this workshop knowing how to access and align the Radiant Circuits as a webbing to keep us together in times of immense sadness, anguish, and despair. At first look, this may appear to contradict what EEM students believe about Radiant Circuits. This lesson does not contradict current EEM teachings about Radiant Circuits as a source of delight. This session explains how to use the Circuits and how to link them with the Yin and Yang meridians. This workshop explains how to use the Circuits while dealing with the despair that comes with living a meaningful life.

If we ever want to be whole again after being annihilated, we must learn how to link the Radiant Circuits with the Yin & Yang Circuits.
