The new ‘normal’ has arrived. As this truth settles in, those of us in direct patient care must focus our efforts on relearning and developing a new style and flow for office and hospital care, with the goal of proficiency AND efficiency. What does it mean to include a significant number of telemedicine patients? How can we strike a balance between consumer expectations (immediate doc on my phone) and our understanding of the standard of care? The year 2020 tilted the world’s axis; now we must find equilibrium and GO FAST.

Attendees will receive an overview of different disease processes, new techniques for workflow and format, using new tools at the point of care, providing a new sort of treatment, and doing it all efficiently: working smarter, not harder.

Sarah Martin Hall, DO, is an Oklahoma native who graduated with honors from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, OK, in 2005. She completed her family medicine internship and residency at the OSU Medical Center after graduation. She worked as a team facilitator in the OB/GYN department, a research technician in the microbiology department, a histology tutor in the anatomy and cell biology department, and a microbiology tutor in the microbiology department while in medical school. Dr. Hall, who is board-certified in family medicine, is a joint-appointed professor in the departments of family medicine and medical education. She also serves as the program director for the OMECO THC family medicine residency program. Dr. Hall opted to pursue a primary care training improvement fellowship in 2019 in order to drive health care change and improve teaching in a community environment.

Stephanie N. Aldret, DOConferences and products: 2

Dr. Stephanie Aldret, DO is a Tulsa native who attended Oklahoma State University’s Center for Health Sciences. She earned an Internship and Residency in Family Medicine at Oklahoma State University, as well as a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA, where she was a team physician for Virginia Tech and Radford University. She is board qualified in Family Medicine, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, and Sports Medicine, among other specialties. She is the Family Medicine and Sports Medicine Discipline Chair at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine-Louisiana in Monroe. She previously worked as faculty for the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Lafayette Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship and Family Medicine Residency, as well as at Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists in Lafayette, LA, where she practiced non-operative sports medicine with an emphasis on concussion management, osteopathic manipulation, and musculoskeletal ultrasound. She is a team physician for the University of Louisiana at Monroe and USA Gymnastics-Trampoline and Tumbling, as well as a member of USA Wrestling and USA Figure Skating’s volunteer medical pool. Dr. Aldret has also provided medical treatment for the 2018 Winter Paralympic Games, Paralympic Qualification events, the Oklahoma Special Olympics, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, roller derby, rodeo, hockey (professional and junior hockey), and professional baseball. At the 2019 ParaPanAm Games in Lima, Peru, she and her husband provided medical care for Team USA. Dr. Aldret is the Immediate Past-President of the Louisiana Osteopathic Medical Association and a Louisiana representative to the House of Delegates of the American Osteopathic Association.

Randy L. Aldret, EdD, ATC, LAT, CSCS is the Assistant Dean for Research and Faculty Development at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, Louisiana Campus, located in Monroe, Louisiana. Dr. Aldret was previously an Associate Professor of Kinesiology and Director of the Athletic Training Program at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is a state licensed and nationally certified athletic trainer (AT) with over 20 years of clinical experience, as well as a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) with experience in high school, arena football, and collegiate settings, as well as adjunct professor at two other schools (University of Tulsa and Radford University). During the Fall of 2013 and 2014, Dr. Aldret worked as an assistant athletic trainer in the UL sports department, where he was a member of the medical crew for two Ragin’ Cajuns New Orleans Bowl triumphs. In 2016, he received the School of Kinesiology Faculty Member of the Year Award, and he recently finished his tenure as the Louisiana Athletic Trainers Association’s Director of Continuing Education.

Dr. Aldret now provides medical services to the ULM Athletic Department’s athlete population as well as assessments of how physiological and psychological factors impair athlete performance. His research interests include best practices in athletic training education, diabetes management in athletics, and athletic performance, as well as the examination and diagnosis of concussion. Dr. Aldret is married to former Oklahoma City resident Stephanie Hendricks, who is his research collaborator and the Chair of Family Medicine, OMM, and Sports Medicine at VCOM-Louisiana. Dr. Aldrets were both members of Team USA’s medical staff at the 2019 Parapan American Games and have been selected to join the US Paralympic Team in Tokyo for the 2020 Olympic Games.

Bradley D. Hardy, DOConferences and products: 1

Bradley D. Hardy, DO, is a Tulsa native and third generation family practice physician who graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa in 2013. Dr. Hardy is an outpatient family medicine physician at the Warren Clinic in Tulsa and is board-certified in family medicine. He chairs the Warren Clinic Pharmacy Committee and serves on the Saint Francis Health System Physician Advisory Committee to Senior Leadership. Dr. Hardy is an avid flyer. On his sixteenth birthday, he soloed a flight and obtained his driver’s license; a year later, he received his pilot’s license. Dr. Hardy enjoys spending time with his two sons when he is not in the air or treating patients.
