Seiji Nishinura, Japan’s national team coach, teaches you the fundamentals of kicking as well as numerous methods.

When Seiji Nishimura made his karate debut, he took first place in the 8th Japan Cup (middleweight class). In 1982, he competed in the open class division exclusively in the 9th Japan Cup, where he faced Hisao Murase in the finals. He earned first place and held the championship for two years in a row. He achieved extraordinary success in a short period of time by winning the Asia-Pacific Championships, World Cup, and World Championships.

Rumor had claimed that he will retire shortly after injuring himself during team kumite at the 8th World Championships in 1986. Despite this setback, he competed in the 15th Japan Cup in 1987, reaching the finals against Hiromasa Shimizu. Surprisingly, Nishimura won the Japan Championship after a 6-year absence. He retired after this event and went on to coach the national team in 1988, raising numerous top Karate fighters…
