Date: October 17, 2019 DescriptionTraditional therapies in sports rehabilitation can be counterproductive, triggering self-defense systems that freeze muscles, compress nerves, heighten pain, and reduce performance.
When “tried and true” techniques fail, clients may abandon therapy entirely, leaving you wondering your efficacy and concerned that your treatment approaches are outdated.
However, using the most up-to-date techniques for treating sports injuries and biomechanically boosting athletes, your work may help clients confidently return to play, prevent re-injury, and reach top performance – no matter what their sport throws at them.
Dr. Shaun Goulbourne will present new strategies and testing to help you combat the particular pressures of today’s sports. Learn how to use functional movement screening to examine and enhance the whole kinetic chain, helping athletes to quicker recovery and stronger, safer performance. Use today’s greatest conditioning tactics to increase energy transfer and impact absorption.
Improve treatment outcomes by integrating different modalities more effectively, from exercise to joint manipulation and IASTM. And create enhanced, unique treatment strategies for a wide range of common sports ailments.
Whether your new patients are weekend warriors or Golden State Warriors, you’ll be prepared to confidently assist them toward speedy recoveries using the greatest sports rehab approaches available.
