What You’ll Get: SECRET #1: UNDERSTAND YOUR AUDIENCE
You must be able to offer them what they want. To do so, you must first discover who they are and what they want, and then regularly put something in front of them that will help them solve that problem. Again. Building that “know, like, and trust” without always paying for marketing.
Indeed, I recently heard of someone who sold a book on how to quit gnawing your finger nails (seriously) and made a lot of money simply by convincing their audience that he had a solution. You can sell ANYTHING once you know who you’re talking to.
The majority of people get this step wrong. As a result, they are having difficulty selling.
SECRET #2: PROVIDE A REASON FOR PEOPLE TO SIGN UP FOR YOUR LIST.
We are all aware that YOU require a list. But why should someone subscribe to YOUR mailing list? What do they get? Most marketers are oblivious, and they do not design systems that provide the audience what THEY WANT. Instead, they are too focused with making money. No one will participate unless you have a strong incentive. This makes email incredibly difficult.
Most people fail miserably in this area because they don’t know how to provide their audience a compelling reason to opt in, and as a result, they don’t build a list.
SECRET NUMBER THREE: USE AUTOMATED EMAIL SEQUENCES
Developing systems that send emails automatically so that I don’t have to is one of the most rewarding things I’ve done in my career. They’re known as “sequences” or “autoresponders,” and they’ve been a HUGE factor in the bulk of my campaign success. Broadcasts are amazing, but I have UNDENIABLE proof that sequences generate more money than broadcasts, and there is a VERY good reason for this.
Most people fail because they do not utilize sequences, or if they do, their sequences are poor. resulting in decreased earnings and, as a result, decreased happiness
SECRET #4: FAILURE TO APPRECIATE THE LONG-TERM VALUE OF EMAIL
According to Hubspot, you can generate $42 for every $1.00 invested on email marketing, however this does not happen INSTANTLY. For some reason, people are way too focused on paying $1.00 into ads and getting $2.00 out (which is impossible these days), rather than aiming to collect as many addresses as possible and turning $1.00 into $42. Everything comes down to being short-sighted!
Most people fail in this area because they are too focused on earning $1.00 right now rather than $42.00 over the course of a month.
