We team up with BAFTA-winning composer lafur Arnalds (Broadchurch, Kiasmos, Erased Tapes) to record an all-star ensemble playing his latest series of breathtaking evolutions. Based in Reykjavik, Iceland, lafur’s approach to sound and composition has inspired a new generation to appreciate and produce orchestral music, and after the success of his own Spitfire libraries and our Symphonic Strings Evolutions, he seemed the natural option to develop Chamber Evolutions.
The 4,3,3,3,3 British ensemble (Violin I + II, Viola, Cello, Double Bass) is led by long-term colleague Viktor Orri rnason and performs a spectrum of frail yet warm wonderfully unfolding phrases, recorded at the world-famous Hall in Air Studios (London).
This library’s Evo Grid technology makes it simple to produce rich chamber strings music from the most basic of arrangements – just a few sustained notes are all you need to build fascinating dynamic soundscapes.
Waves is a completely new concept that features notes that travel along a wave-like dynamic arc, appearing from nothing, growing, and then withering away to nothing. These are available in a variety of styles and lengths using our traditional interface.
