On February 6, 1998, master Stefan Benedetti (6th dan Aikido Aikikai) led an aikiken seminar (aikido sword) in St. Petersburg (6th dan Aikido Aikikai).
Information to be added: Stéphane Benedetti was born in France on February 15, 1951. He attended school in Aix-en-Provence and afterwards attended university there. He completed his secondary education at the University of Paris, where he studied Japanese, Chinese, and Indian philosophy, phonetics, and religious history.
In 1966, he began practicing aikido. He obtained his first dan in 1969. He lived in Japan for roughly seven years, where he studied aikido and ran a company.
Stefan Benedetti, a graduate of the Sorbonne Oriental Faculty, has 6th dan aikido and is the author of various publications on the martial art of Aikido, which has made him famous not only in his nation, but also across the world. He is presently residing in Barcelona, Spain (Spain).
Tamura-(8th sensei’s dan aikikai) disciple and partner, he has been his personal secretary since 1984. Tamura Sensei’s two books were released after I assisted in their preparation. “Book for Beginners” is a book that I wrote.
Mutokukai Europe Aikido Academy was founded and led by myself. It has branches in several countries throughout the world. Benedetti is the Tamura-sensei direction’s curator in the CIS nations, as well as the St. Petersburg Aikido Academy, the Aikido Federation of Kalmykia, and the Aikido Aikikai Federation of Ukraine.
Benedetti devotes a significant amount of time to promoting aikido, holding around 12 seminars each year across Europe, the CIS nations, and North Africa.
He has been holding lectures in St. Petersburg every year since 1992.
He has been holding lectures in Elista on a yearly basis since 1998.
He is now residing and training in Barcelona, Spain (Spain).
