This online course also includes in-office 3D printing in-office (DIY) clear aligners. Design and 3D print your aligner cases to create your own unique in-house clear aligners. We show you the secrets, step-by-step on how to set-up your cases (or outsource setup!) and then 3D print models for aligners, vacuum forming aligners, and finally finalizing and shipping them to the patient!
The clear aligner course can earn up to 27 hours of continuing education credit.
This course incorporates learning strategies and instructional information that is 50% projection slides and 50% video-based teaching. We emphasize simulated “LIVE” video-based techniques to demonstrate step-by-step clinical procedures such as impressions, digital scanning, bonding attachments, interproximal reduction (IPR), monitoring and troubleshooting steps, case finishing refinement and revision, attachment removal and polishing, and placing the patient in retention. In-office aligner modules also include step-by-step aligner software from ArchForm, Blue Sky Bio, and uLab, 3D printing of your own models on Sprintray Pro, Formlabs, and Nextdent printers, and vacuum shaping, trimming, and finishing of your cases.
