Ms. Eckerle is a partner in the health care and real estate practice groups of Krieg DeVault. Ms. Eckerle’s work in the healthcare business focuses on providing regulatory, compliance, and corporate counsel to physicians, physician groups, pharmacies, on-site employer healthcare clinics, and other healthcare organizations. She advises these customers on a wide range of regulatory concerns, including pharmaceutical prescribing and dispensing, workplace health and wellness programs, reimbursement difficulties, fraud and abuse issues, and licensure issues. Ms. Eckerle also advises healthcare organizations on HIPM, HITECH, and state privacy laws, including the identification, investigation, and remediation of breach incidents, compliance programs, audits, and enforcement actions, as well as assisting these clients with health information technology issues. She also assists these providers with physician recruiting and employment agreements, non-competition and non-solicitation concerns, supply chain contracts, practice group acquisitions, and telemedicine and telepharmacy difficulties.
