What’s New in Stroke Care?
Take-Home Neuro Tool Kit and Much More…Did you know that a person with Myasthenia Gravis may have more than one sort of life-threatening crisis?
Or, do you ever wonder which cranial nerves you should constantly examine and what those tests can tell you quickly?
Or are you scared by the prospect of explaining the intricate neurological system to patients and their families?
If you struggle to explain to your patients why their heart disease is a risk factor for stroke, how shrugging their shoulders and sticking out their tongues assesses brain function, or what medications can cause life-threatening complications with a neurological disorder, you should work with Susan Fralick-Ball, PsyD, MSN, CLNC, CH, a mentor who can make the information simple and understandable.
This session is ideal for all healthcare professionals who wish to strengthen assessment abilities, create a solid foundation of brain and nervous system anatomy and physiology, and use these skills in everyday patient care. It is designed with the bedside clinician in mind. Understanding these fundamental ideas will allow you to identify patient issues quicker and respond to them more effectively. Susan’s teaching approach encourages casual, collaborative dialogue. You will leave with a systematic approach to evaluations, a better grasp of prevalent neurological disorders, and a revitalized dedication to patient care quality.
