Anxiety Yoga Series
Every-situation practices to reduce anxiety and improve your quality of life
Tara Stiles, founder of Strala, welcomes you to your Yoga for Anxiety Series.
When things spiral out of control, we typically devote too much focus to what has already occurred and what is likely to occur. Both are locations where we can’t make a significant difference. As a result, we are naturally concerned. And this may occasionally lead to something more. Something far short of where we want to be, moving through life smoothly and cheerfully, generating what we desire.
How can we make this easier? Fortunately, there are certain basic daily and situational activities that may help you make this a reality in your body and life.
The techniques in this series provide everything you need to return to here and make it extremely good in a variety of scenarios. You’ll invest your energy where it counts, where you can make a difference. It all starts with the fundamentals of your being: softness, connection, sensitivity, harmonious movement, ease, and calm.
And, of course, if you’re pregnant, or anybody else, always consult your doctor first. It is beneficial to get guidance from a knowledgeable specialist who is familiar with your specific situation.
“Strala is a beautifully simple and sophisticated approach to shift our breath, body, and entire self into the condition we need to develop who we want to be: the best manifestation of ourselves.”
– Dr. Rudolph Tanzi, Harvard’s Chair of Neurology and Director of the Genetics and Aging Research Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital
Strala’s Background
Strala blends the movement and healing wisdom of tai chi – the form vocabulary of yoga, tai chi, qigong, and Traditional Chinese Medicine – to assist individuals in releasing tension, healing, and moving comfortably through all types of obstacle.

It starts with a mindset that says the greatest way to go somewhere is to feel good along the way. It also works wonders for overall health, assisting us in finding relaxation in our bodies and minds and creating the best circumstances for healing and performance. <p “=”> Our Strala Trainings teach you how to create your future on every level that matters, from psychology, chemistry, and neurology to chromosomes and gene expression. The unique combination of abilities you acquire – for connecting with yourself and others, unblocking your energy, healing what needs healing, and completing difficult tasks with ease – reveals your power to create the life you desire and be an inspirational leader to others around you.
Who are the Founders?
<p “=”>
Tara Stiles established Strala, drawing on her expertise in classical ballet and choreography, as well as her long-standing personal yoga practice. Tara was taught by Paul Taylor Dance Company choreographer and dancer Eileen Cropley, and began her yoga studies in the 1990s with her ballet teacher, American Ballet Theater’s Rory Foster. <p “=”> Strala’s science and movement are also led by Strala co-founder Mike Taylor. Mike went to Harvard for mind-body medicine and Oxford for integrative medicine. He has been practicing Eastern movement and healing for 30 years, including tai chi and qi gong. <p “=”> Dr. Deepak Chopra, a pioneer in mind-body health, and Dr. Rudolph Tanzi, Chair of Neurology at Harvard and Director of the Genetics and Aging Research Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital, both support our program.
