I can’t believe I ever considered life in that manner. Here’s how it all went downhill.

I got the opportunity to assist with persons with special needs in Guatemala in 2014. A light went off inside of me the moment I beheld the world through eyes other than my own. Teaching within the same four walls every day did not provide me joy after that. After returning to Guatemala several times, I realized I needed to find a method to support a travel-centered lifestyle. There was one little issue. I didn’t know where to begin.

So I did what any 22-year-old bright, blonde girl would do. I moved to Central America in 2015 to figure things out. My days were spent exploring, my nights were spent bartending, and any waking moments I had left were spent investigating the remote lifestyle. I applied for a few remote jobs before landing one with an email marketing business. I had liberated myself! I spent the next year of my life traveling the world while working from my laptop. Mexico, Lithuania, Colombia, Morocco, and Spain are just a few examples. Friends, relatives, and complete strangers all wanted to know how it was done. I observed so many qualified people who had a great desire to work remotely but didn’t know where to begin. I needed to do something…

I tried a couple newsletters offering remote employment possibilities in various areas and the results were ridiculous! People started applying for jobs and getting them straight away. I was actually squealing with delight and realized I could continue to help others all across the world.
