And so on, and so on…

However, as each speaker LEFT the stage, the audience’s sensation of urgency increased.

Why?

Because they were being lured unknowingly into three subtle but strong traps:

TRAP NUMBER 1 – The Pit of Passivity
When someone is feeling that they “can’t” accomplish something, they view themselves as inactive, at effect, helpless. They think, “I can’t do it, and even if I knew what to do, I wouldn’t be able to accomplish it.” It’s a common restriction pattern, and when people have it, they tend to seek assistance FROM OUTSIDE THEMSELVES (Eg. to experts).

The term “electronic commerce” refers to the sale of goods and services through the internet. BUT… they seldom put what they’re learning into practice because they believe the power is outside of them (in the “expert”). “That works for the Expert, but there’s something distinctive about them – I can’t do it,” they secretly reason. The activities are recorded in their notebook and seldom see the light of day.

Q: Be truthful… How often have you read a book, listened to an audio programme, or attended to an event, heard plenty of fantastic ideas, yet failed to take action?

If you’re anything like me, you’ve fallen into “the pit of inactivity” more than once. And it’s not your fault! It was unavoidable when you found yourself in the “I can’t” zone. Fortunately, there is a (albeit paradoxical) way out of this bind. But first…

TRAP NUMBER 2 – The Expert’s Illusion
“The expert” is often someone who has discovered a method that works for them. They do it in good conscience because they “know” that if you do what they did, you will obtain the same outcomes. critical mass————————————-

The expert devised a strategy based on THEIR specific strengths, personality style, values, and life circumstances. But there’s one problem…
