The World Champion
Tom the Great Barlow For over a decade, Barlow has been involved in the UK BJJ scene as well as the worldwide competitive jiu jitsu circuit. He obtained his black belt from Braulio Estima in 2011 and has trained with legends like as Eric Paulson, Andre Galvao, Rafa and Gui Mendes, and Otavio Sousa, among others.
Tom has also had a lot of success in competition BJJ. He is a three-time No-Gi World Champion at featherweight, European Champion, and has fought in a number of professional, submission-only events like as the Polaris Pro and Tuff. You may also recognize him as a Polaris recurrent commentator.
Tom gives monthly lectures across the United Kingdom and Europe. He has achieved a remarkable transition from athlete to coach and lecturer, effortlessly balancing his requirements as an athlete against the needs of his pupils. Chelsea and Tom have given a number of tandem seminars, and attendees always comment on the quality of training and depth of knowledge acquired.
