Using 3ds Max, Zbrush, Marvelous Designer, Substance Designer & Painter, Marmoset, and Unreal, create a Victorian-style setting.
This course will walk you through the steps of constructing an awesome Victorian-style gaming environment! We’ll begin by creating ornate components in 3ds Max, then treat them with Zbrush to enhance them. Then we’ll create our modular forms, such as columns, doors, roofs, and floors, for usage in the Unreal Game Engine. Substance Designer will be used to build various texture tiles such as wood, plaster, gold, and cloth. To generate the Asset in our scene, we will experiment with several modeling approaches ranging from HiPoly to LowPoly-modeling. We will also utilize the Marvelous Designer to design realistic textiles and curtains, which will make the scene more lifelike. We’ll use Substance Painter to texture our asset, and then we’ll build up our models and materials in Unreal. We go into the production of extra lighting and effects that will establish the tone for the complete Victorian era game area.
Extras. Basic experience of 3ds Max, Zbrush, Substance Designer & Painter, Marmoset, and Unreal is required. There is no prior experience of Marvelous Designer necessary; the fundamentals of this software will be explained to you.
