Cheung Defense Tactics is an instructive video series about employing Wing Chun techniques for self-defense.
Edged Weapon Defense Systems – Protection against bladed weapons and employing bladed weapons is a video module dedicated to this software.
Watching this video for the sake of the working methods of the ordinary knife and counter knife with his bare hands is not worth it.
But if you’re like dealing with swords and butterflies, this is an intriguing film to watch since, in my opinion, William Cheung was aware of these blades and had something to say about them.
Grandmaster William Cheung’s Cheung’s Tactical Defense is an excellent defense curriculum for all conditions.
This video features demonstrations of the Butterfly Rod, Cheung’s Belt Defense, and Empty Hand Defense versus Weapons (such as a baseball bat).
The techniques are: – Simple and effective – Legal – Surprisingly dynamic and forceful – Suitable for men and women of all ages – Using pressure point hitting techniques
– Improving eyesight with eye exercises
– Advancing Health and Fitness
Although traditional warfare as such no longer exists in the age of contemporary weapons of mass destruction, humans continue to wage war (whether on a local or global basis). As a result, adequate personnel training is critical to the success of military operations or law enforcement. In today’s high-technology military environment, martial arts remains the key to victory.
From 1978 to 1980, traditional Wing Chun Grandmaster William Cheung worked with the US Marines and the Navy Seal Team of the US 7th Fleet located in Japan. Cheung began developing concepts for his CDT (Cheung’s Defensive Tactics) Program around this period.
CDT is an integrated system that incorporates current tactics and procedures aimed towards the protection of law enforcement personnel. The program’s ultimate goal is to provide the agent (operator) with the essential “tools” to utilize in life-threatening circumstances.
Grandmaster Cheung’s Wing Chun style incorporates the fighting ideas and techniques that have shown to be effective in the hands of the time-tested fighters previously stated. Grandmaster Cheung employs the four components of victory – the heart, the eyes, balance and abilities, and combative tactics – in modern-day battle.
