Tyumen Regional Aikido Federation (KRAG)
Yoji Fujimoto was born in the Yamaguchi province in 1948.
His ancestors were descended from an ancient samurai family. Because Yoji’s father, Fujimoto, was a well-known kendo instructor, he began studying the martial art at the age of five. He enrolled in an aikido school when he was 12 years old. In 1962, Fujimoto obtained his first dan in aikido. Tada Fujimoto san traveled to Italy (Milan) in 1971, on the advice of Hiroshi, and established the Milan Aikido Foundation.
Aikikai of Yugoslavia, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and South African Republic are now under his supervision. In 2002, I visited Russia for the first time to deliver a seminar as part of the KRAG educational and methodological program. He now has 7 Dan Aikikai and has been the curator of the KRAH from Aikikai Hombu since 2005.
