Create using new tools.
Meet Wavetable, Echo, Drum Buss, and Pedal: new gadgets that allow you to create vibrant new sounds using Live’s instruments and effects.
Wavetable
Wavetable is a new synthesizer created by Ableton that is instantly playable and infinitely capable. Using wavetables created from magesy download analog synthesizers and a variety of other instruments and noises, you may shape, stretch, and morph sounds. Start shaping sounds straight immediately, even if you don’t know much about synthesis, or explore its wide palette and possibilities via an accessible interface.
Echo
Echo combines the sound of classic analog and digital hardware delays in a single device, making it your new go-to delay. With its analog-modeled filters, you can drive and shape sounds, turn up the noise and wobble for vintage imperfections, or add modulation and reverb to create diffuse soundscapes, wailing feedback, and more.
Bussing Drums
Drum Buss is a one-stop workstation for drums that can add subtle character as well as bend and break drums to your will. With drive and crunch, you can add warmth and distortion, control dynamics with compression and transient shaping, dial in and tune boom, and control bass decay with the dedicated low end section.
Pedal
Pedal brings the character of analog stomp boxes to Live with separate circuit-level models of overdrive, distortion, and fuzz guitar pedals. The effect ranges from subtle to reckless—it excels at warming up vocals and other instruments, driving synth sounds, and completely smashing drums. And, of course, it sounds fantastic with guitars.
