For years, I’ve been requested to produce a longer workshop but have always refused. The Rainmaking Seminars, which lasted a day and a half and were held three times a year, were the closest I’ve come.
But the moment has come for me to codify what I know about starting, running, and expanding a consulting firm in one location. I’ve authored dozens of books, hundreds of articles and columns, and have been routinely interviewed about my innovative techniques to developing buyer connections, determining fees, generating enticing bids, and everything else that has made my own firm so successful.
Even my more detailed publications, such as Million Dollar Consulting® and The Ultimate Consultant, cannot deliver the gestalt that an interactive session can. And an interactive session is simply too limiting to achieve my goals. Many individuals can assist you start a business, but my goal is to help you construct practices and organizations that generate money. As a result, I established The Million Dollar Consulting® College. I realize it’s an obnoxious name! But here’s what it requires, which goes well beyond any course, program, “boot camp,” or other kind of growth.

A week of intense engagement between myself and a small group of coworkers. Over 35 hours of work, contact, and conversation will be required (and fun). The whole Ultimate Consultant Series, seven volumes totaling almost 2,000 pages on themes ranging from branding to life balance, as well as Breaking Through Writer’s Block.

Throughout the course, we will do realistic exercises and simulations. For instance, we will take a press query source, develop a response template, and formulate a real-time answer. To practice meeting with a buyer, we will set up a dummy office. To practice phoning the buyer, we’ll utilize a phone situation. You get the picture. I’m not a “talking head,” and you’re not a flower! We’ll simulate your whole experience, from walking in the door to answering the phone.
We will also have special session specialists on legal property incorporation and protection; tax reporting, investment, and retirement planning; Internet marketing, search engines, and online sales; and business etiquette, attire, and style.
