What You Will Receive:
1. Fundamental Course Modules
By the end of the course, you’ll have a plan for the following 3-6 months of content, as well as a system for constantly creating content that your audience (and the YouTube algorithm) enjoys without being overwhelmed. We’ll cover the following topics in our core live lectures:
Build – Identifying your specialty, determining your target audience and value proposition, constructing your studio, determining the best gear at various budget levels, being comfortable on camera, and reducing friction in video production. If you are a novice, these classes are ideal for you. Even if you aren’t, you will very likely gain a lot of helpful information (we’ve had students with 100k+ subscribers who liked these sessions).
Conceive – Never run out of content ideas again. We’ll guide you through the process of creating your own Idea Generation Machine by utilizing our 6-part structure for gathering ideas from multiple sources and systematically producing your own. And we’ll go through best practices for titles and thumbnails, which are perhaps two of the most significant aspects of a successful YouTube channel.
Construct – Learn how to arrange your videos to appeal to both your audience and the YouTube algorithm. And how to use flare and branding in your videos to get visitors to subscribe to your channel.
Create – Learn how to make a content calendar and utilize parallel processing to increase your productivity so you’re never anxious about looming video deadlines. And how to effectively remix and distribute your material across several platforms to broaden your reach and diversify your company. We’ll discuss the importance of an email list (which you should have from the start) and the differences between private and public platforms for making your business more resilient.
Expand – How to outsource editing (hint: you should do this as soon as you start generating money) and how to establish a staff of writers, researchers, editors, and assistants around your channel while being incredibly lucrative.
Monetize – How to maximize your revenue through Adsense, sponsored videos, affiliate relationships, and your own items without alienating your audience. I’ll show you the true figures behind my YouTube channel’s $100k+ monthly revenue and the methods I took to get there.
Timings for Live Sessions – For the next six weeks, we’ll have two live sessions every week. They will be available on Mondays and Thursdays. Each session will last 60-90 minutes and will include core teaching and participatory exercises, as well as an open Q&A. If you are unable to attend the live sessions, don’t worry: we will publish the Zoom recording within 1 hour of the session concluding, and a neatly produced video with timestamps will be available within 24 hours.
2. Video Homework Assignments
The Homework Video Assignments are the course’s most crucial component.
This course isn’t for you if you can’t (or won’t) commit to publishing one video every week. It won’t be of much use to you. It’s the same of signing up for a gym class, turning up to see the instruction, and then failing to exercise. It could be entertaining, but it won’t get you anywhere.
You can’t develop on YouTube unless you constantly post videos at least once a week. Yes, there are exceptions, but in general, you should write at least once a week to stand out.
Each week, we’ll offer you a video assignment that will require you to write, record, edit, and upload a video on your channel. When you’re finished, you’ll post a link to your video on our community platform so that others may remark on it, and we’ll offer full comments on every video assignment that is submitted.
