If you’ve been on any of the make money online “guru” mailing lists, you’ve probably received a series of warm-up emails for Amish Shah and Jay Style’s Magic Bullet System, which launches tomorrow (Monday, 11 January), and from the preview videos released so far, it appears to be an automatic CPA money making system, but is that the case? Is it everything it’s talked up to be?
Here’s my firsthand perspective on the matter.
About three years ago, I was in the same online marketing mastermind as Amish and Jay. Amish had previously been working on his Hexatrack PPC management tool, which he used to run his own ads. It was brutally successful, and he’s come on the calls talking into detail about how he crushed the last deal he was marketing.
Fast forward three years and $250,000 later, and some of Hexatrack’s fundamental components have evolved into the Magic Bullet System, resulting in a $5,000 workshop in California last year with a number of practicing top affiliates, copywriters, and conversion gurus giving the sessions. The seminar has been turned into the Magic Bullet System, which combines webinar-style teaching with video recordings (approximately 20+ hours) from the event.

What has happened so far?
Amish and Jay have enlisted the help of JV broker Mike Merz and Frank Kern, who has a reputation for spectacular product launches. In case you didn’t know, Frank is the man behind the “Dog Training” training items, tattoo-related products, and monetizing a variety of other niches.
Frank (together with his cousin/brother-in-law Trey) assisted Neil Strauss AKA Style (author of seduction/pick-up blockbuster The Game) in developing and launching his “Annihilation Method” line of Pick-Up Artist home study courses.
Frank has now collaborated with John Reese on a “self-improvement for internet marketers” sort of course with motivation guru Tony Robbins.
The Magic Bullet System, like everything else Frank has worked on, appears to be a smashing success, with over 90,000 leads opting in to the prospects list.
Amish has grown his list by giving away high-quality content in a Frank Kern-style “Mass Control” launch campaign of giving away great stuff (like a $200/day smiley central campaign – he shows you how to set it up in Adwords, including landing pages and keywords) in exchange for opting in to the list.
Will Amish have 500 clients within minutes of launching tomorrow? Sure thing.
With a ticket price of around $3,000, you may think Amish and Jay’s $1.5 million payoff is a huge deal. But I don’t believe so. Having previously worked on similar launches, I believe Amish and Jay will make a net profit of $600,000 to $750,000 when everything is said and done. Which is nothing when they’re already producing 5 to 6 figures each day from advertising CPA deals and their own items.
So, what’s the catch?
Given that they’re both experienced entrepreneurs, the Magic Bullet System is a screening/pre-qualification procedure for prospective affiliates to their yMultimedia CPA network.
Since being active in the CPA sector, I’ve seen that virtually many networks do not do enough to provide training or ideas to affiliates – which is unusual considering having a better performing affiliate base directly impacts your network’s revenue.
However, the pattern is changing, with a number of boutique networks (many of which were founded by top affiliates) such as Convert2Media, EagleWebAssets, Ads4Dough, TriFoxMedia, Revolution202, to mention a few.
yMultimedia is taking this a step further by combining its offer database with the Magic Bullet System, which offers offer/keyword research, set-up, and optimization capabilities comparable to other PPC management packages that cost $20,000 or more per month to lease.
And astute CPA network operators understand, you don’t need 50,000 affiliates to be a smashing success. You’re as good as gold if you have 50 top affiliates continuously advertising your offerings. In fact, at certain networks, the top ten affiliates account for 80-90 percent of income.
Launching the Magic Bullet System now is, if anything, an aggressive step for Amish and Jay to pre-qualify, recruit, and train what is sure to be a strong affiliate army.
