DescriptionThe Revolutionary Guide to Implementing DBT in Your Practice
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) can result in long-term behavioral change for individuals who struggle to control and cope with their emotions, even if they are not diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. Learn how to modify DBT to match the demands of your practice and help your clients achieve their treatment objectives across a wide range of behavioral health disorders. This tape will show you how to lead development in each of the DBT skill areas (emotion regulation, mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance) as well as how to steer efforts in moment-to-moment resilience and non-reactivity.
You will rapidly understand tactics for improving motivation and strengthening client engagement, as well as communicating the philosophy and science of DBT to clients, led by Dr. Andrew Bein, a seasoned educator with an active, hands-on approach to teaching. By the end of the recording, you will have the skills you need to quickly integrate DBT into your practice and assist your clients in regaining control of their emotions and lives.
