DescriptionDescription:
Sleep disruption is an unpleasant contributor to depression. Client’s symptoms, paradoxically, become paths that disarm anguish, giving to the peace of sound sleep. Clients then pace recovery in accordance with the cycles of restful sleep, without being overly concerned. Trance language based on Ericksonian principles will be delivered, initially addressing interrupted sleep and then indirectly addressing depression.
Objectives of Education:
Identifying clients’ language in order to immediately confront and reframe disrupted sleep.
Employ sleep restructuring strategies with personalized metaphors to treat the presenting symptoms of depression in a client.*Content and confidentiality may be modified during sessions*
