This training provides medical and psychotherapy experts with a method for managing chronic pain issues. Techniques that entail self-assessment and active engagement, both of which are essential to the healing process, are taught specifically for treatment with patients at risk for pharmaceutical dependence. The employment of creative imagination and hypnotic procedures allow for subjective perception changes that can be utilised in the adaptation to persistent pain.
Objectives of Education:
Determine the standards for determining whether a patient is addicted or experiencing increased clinical discomfort.
List three possible ways for using the imagination to alleviate chronic pain.*Content and confidentiality may be modified during sessions*
