DescriptionDescription:
The primary themes, aspects, and conceptualizations of resiliency will be examined from community, psychological, cultural, and spiritual perspectives. We will examine how to mobilize resiliency within the context of time-limited soul care and how to harness the dynamic interplay of heritages, norms, traditions, and values to advance coping, surviving, and flourishing techniques. We shall argue that resilience is a common foundation, resource, and capacity stored in the community, not only a psycho-emotional and individualistic prospective ability. As a result, resilience is clearly influenced by culture, group identification, and generational knowledge.
Objectives of Education:
Contrast a few simple definitions of resilience with more comprehensive concepts.
Discuss three significant barriers to the study of resilience and list some social underpinnings and cultural mediators of resiliency.
To increase client resiliency, identify four psychosocial integrators, define four forms of cultural resiliencies, and repeat four therapeutic inquiries.*Content and confidentiality may be modified during sessions*
