DescriptionDescription:
According to Milton Erickson, naturalistic hypnosis appears to be one of the most effective ways of harnessing a couple’s resources. Couples frequently struggle to achieve a profound mutual interaction and moan about not being able to meet their requirements for closeness. Hypnotic experience appears to establish a profound touch on its own that seldom arises in their usual routines. The responses of specific couples to hypnotic induction that may be used to promote touch and closeness will be illustrated. In certain circumstances, couples are trapped in problems that they are unable to resolve. A couples hypnotherapist may extend rapport to both couple members and achieve a special relationship that creates more syntonic and attuned behaviors, with conflict intensity decreasing and a stronger capacity to listen to each other and negotiate disputes developing.
Objectives of Education:
List five hypnotic couple reactions that can aid in the development of touch and closeness.
Show that you understand how to build rapport with the couple and lower conflict intensity.*Content and confidentiality may be modified during sessions*
