This workshop will help you examine how your values and life experience affect your treatment of couples on the verge of divorce, as well as teach you a protocol for assisting clients in making decisions that are fair to all parties involved and increase the likelihood that couples will try to repair their broken bond.

William J. Doherty is a community organizer, educator, researcher, therapist, and author. He is Professor and Director of the Marriage and Family Therapy Program in the Department of Family Social Science, College of Education and Human Development, and an adjunct Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Minnesota.
